Lawrence A. Freeman.

Lawrence A. Freeman graduated the University of Miami with a BS degree in Chemistry and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in Law. He served with the U.S. Air Force as an intelligence officer and a Judge Advocate in Asia (Japan, Korea, Viet Nam, and Thailand) and Germany. Thereafter, he was an international Tax/ lawyer/ financial advisor living in Zurich, the Bahamas and Miami. Prior to retiring from private practice, he was counsel to Barclays Bank International London, Royal Brunei Airlines, East Asiatic Shipping, Merrill Lynch, the President of Panama, two South African Banks, First National City Bank, the Bank of Perrine, and the Bank of Cutler Ridge. He is the author of ¡°General Survey of Marginal Tax Havens,¡± ¡°Expropriation of Assets¡± ¡°Migration USA, Panacea or Pandora¡¯s Box,¡± ¡°How to Use a Foreign Trust.¡± He was an Adjunct Professor at the University Of Miami School Of Law, teaching US Taxation of International Operations. He has been involved in Islamic Finance since he lived in Zurich in the early 1970¡¯s. He has also been involved in ¡°Operation Hunger ¡°in South Africa. Currently, he is a consultant to industry, raising venture capital for high tech projects, and is involved in the outsourcing of manufacturing to China. He is the co-author of the Ten Commandments or Dos and Don¡¯ts of Doing Business in China.
